Parq Vancouver Casino
The Parq Vancouver Casino has over 30,000 square feet of casino floor space, there is a 30,000 square foot elevated park six floors from street level, 62,000 square feet of meeting space, two luxury hotels and a high-end spa. There is also a fitness center for their guests, the Aqua Lounge that features a hydrotherapy tub, yoga space and chaise lounges all outside on the terrace. There are four restaurants for the public including Honey Salt, The Victor, BC Kitchen, MRKT East and there is also the Lotus Lounge, that features live entertainment on a regular basis. If you are looking for a private space for your event, you can go to 1886, The Victor private dining room or the D/6 Bar and hidden lounge. You can also rent one of the many meeting rooms and ballrooms throughout the complex.
There is a great variety of promotions and tournaments here, including daily poker tournaments, slot tournaments, blackjack tournaments and baccarat tournaments. Some are free to play, but others require a small buy-in to enter. If you don't feel like entering in any of the tournaments, you can still play at six-hundred slot machines, a great variety of table games and two types of poker in their poker room.
600 slot machines are available, with the latest games. The casino uses a coin less operation called TITO (ticket in - ticket out) for their gaming machines. There are low limit slot machines throughout the casino floor and high-limit slot machines inside the Fortune Lounge. Every Monday from 1:00PM to 3:00PM there is a $2000 Sunsational Slot tournament, which has a $700 first place prize and the buy-in is only $10.
Counting the poker room, there are seventy-five tables featuring Blackjack, Craps, Baccarat and Roulette. If you like playing the table games, you should check out the Parq Vancouver promotions page. The promotions do change, but last time we checked, there was a $10,000 Blackjack Freeroll tournament on the last Sunday of the month, a $2,500 Baccarat Freeroll every Thursday and a $3,000 Blackjack tournament on Tuesday. If you are a player on a budget or just like a good deal, you can take advantage of the $5 Table Game Happy Hour. From 7:00AM to 12:00PM there will be $5 tables, free coffee and $2 sandwiches.
The poker room is located on the second floor of the casino. Texas Holdem and Omaha is regularly played here. There is a High Hand bonus paid out daily and a growing Bad Beat jackpot, which was over $10,000 for Omaha and over $102,000 for Texas Hold'em, the last time we checked.
There is at least one poker tournament per day here. Most of the tournaments have a buy-in between $85 and $115, except for Sundays. On Sunday there are bigger buy-ins including the monthly $500 Super Sunday tournament.
